In Genesis 41, Joseph has spent two more years in prison. He was forgotten by the cupbearer but never by God. Then Pharaoh has two dreams that no one in Egypt can explain, and the cupbearer remembers his sin. Johan Schep shows how Joseph, taken out of the prison and brought before Pharaoh, gives all the glory to God and not to himself. In one day he is lifted from the dungeon to the palace, and Pharaoh sees that the Spirit of God is in him.

Johan shows how Joseph’s humiliation and exaltation point to the Lord Jesus, who is now exalted in the highest place. Pharaoh said: “Go to Joseph,” and today the word is: “Go to Jesus!”
